The Ultimate Guide to Using Wax Melts Around Your Home

If you're anything like me, you believe a home should smell as good as it looks. Wax melts are one of the easiest (and prettiest!) ways to keep your space feeling fresh, cosy, and downright dreamy. But where should you actually use them? Let me show you how I use wax melts around my home to create the perfect vibe in every room.

Living Room: Set the Mood & Unwind

The living room is where we curl up, chill out, and hang with loved ones—so the fragrance here really sets the tone. I love using soft, comforting scents like Simply Vanilla, Tokyo Blossoms, or anything with a bit of musk in for the evenings (think Marshmallow Dreams and Pink Musk). During the day, something fresh and citrusy helps keep things light and energising.

Top Tip: Use a brighter scent in the morning to perk you up, and something relaxing at night to wind down

Bathroom: Keep Things Fresh & Clean

Bathrooms are a go-to spot for wax melts! A pluggable warmer is perfect here—not just for its compact size while keeping your surface area clear, but because it helps tackle those not-so-lovely odours and replaces them with something fresh and spa-like. Think Coconut Lemongrass, Kaffir Lime Blast, or linen-inspired blends.

Top Tip: Use one of our electric pluggable warmers to keep the warmer off the bench for more bench space.

Kitchen: Neutralise Cooking Smells

Love cooking, hate the smells that linger? Same. That’s why I always keep a wax melt warmer in the kitchen. Citrusy, herbal, and minty scents are great here—they’re natural deodorisers and keep the space feeling crisp. Think kaffir lime blast, Coconut Lemongrass, or cucumber Twist blends.

Top Tip: Turn on your warmer after cooking to help clear out food smells and leave behind a clean scent trail.
